π Project Overview
Griffin Wind Farm sits in the rolling hills of Strathtay, Perthshire β an area of outstanding natural beauty but also one of Scotland's most productive wind corridors. With 68 turbines at 156 MW, it was one of the larger onshore wind farms in Scotland at commissioning in 2012. The project is jointly owned by RWE and ESB (Ireland's state utility) and connects to the local Perthshire grid.
